The Ad Assist campaign is an annual advertising program managed by the Billings Chamber/Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). The events the panel considers, and ultimately choose, must match Chamber/CVB goals and objectives for this particular campaign. The Ad Assist campaign is intended to assist new or existing events by reaching out to visitors from Eastern Montana, Northern Wyoming, Western North and South Dakota with the goal of attracting new visitors to Montana’s Trailhead and boosting the local economy.

An advertising campaign will be developed and then implemented for each Ad Assist recipient. Due to regulations set forth by the State of Montana, local advertising is not available. The goal of this campaign is to attract visitors to Billings who in turn fill hotels, motels, restaurants and retailers directly impacting the Billings’ business community.

Past Ad Assist events have included: NILE, MontanaFair, Clark on the Yellowstone, Magic City Blues Fest, Burn the Point, Yellowstone Art Museum’s Art of Warner Bros. as well as the Western Heritage Center’s Billings’ 125th Celebration and Thomas the Tank Engine’s visit to the Billings’ Depot, to name a few.
