A few years ago, I heard a story of a couple of YouTubers who were hit by a truck while walking down the street in a major city. One of them managed to walk away from it, only suffering from major road burns, a cracked rib and some damage to his leg. His friend, on the other hand, didn’t get that lucky. It took him several months of surgeries and rehabilitation for him to be back on his feet. Even after his surgeries were done, those weeks of trying to walk again were terrifying and painful for him.

When people get in car accidents, or have sports injuries, or maybe they get hit with a serious illness that results in some loss of function, recovery wouldn’t be possible without good doctors. But for many people, the hardest part of recovery comes after the surgeries. Losing our ability to function normally can be more than just a physical challenge, but a mental and emotional challenge as well. Getting through that takes the help of highly trained professionals to help with that rehabilitation process. That is why Billings Clinic, Kindred Healthcare and St. Vincent Healthcare are teaming up to create The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana, to provide those services to help patients through that process.

The facilities offer private rooms, a secured acquired brain injury unit with private dining and therapy gym, large interdisciplinary gyms, transitional living apartments and a therapeutic courtyard. The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana is a state-of-the-art hospital that offers intensive, patient-focused, specialized rehabilitation services.

St. Vincent Healthcare, Kindred Healthcare and Billings Clinic invite you to join them as they celebrate their Grand Opening on Monday, August 5th. They are kicking off the celebration with an Open House from 4-7 p.m., where you can see all the hospital has to offer patients. This project will make a consistent impact on our community. This is a great opportunity for us to show our support of Kindred Healthcare, Billings Clinic and St. Vincent Healthcare. Their hard work and dedication to Billings has always been clear. As they take this next step in serving our community, we can show them the same support they always give to us.
