Travel to Scandinavia with the Billings Chamber – October 2018

The Chamber offers a wide array of benefits, but our opportunity to explore part of the world extends beyond our members. This unique opportunity to examine the international marketplace is open to anyone who would like to travel with us.

Scandinavia’s capitals offer history and metropolitan atmosphere combined with tradition and an open-minded welcome to all visitors. The capitals are wonderful travel destinations for every visitor in the mood for interesting Scandinavian city life.

As a travel destination, Scandinavia offers beautiful wilderness with glaciers in the north, forests, and lakes in the south. The cities are interesting, clean and attractive, and serve as a great destination for every kind of traveler.

In addition to glorious fall foliage, there is much to do and see in Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden when you travel with us in October. And, you’ll build great connections with fellow travelers on the 8 day 6 night excursion.

Winters in Scandinavia are cold, but in October, the average high temperature during the daytime in Copenhagen is 54 degrees Fahrenheit, with the temperature dropping to 45 degrees at night. A bit further north, in Stockholm, afternoon highs average 50 degrees, with lows of 41 degrees. Afternoon highs in Helsinki in October average 46 degrees, with lows around 37 degrees. In Oslo, afternoon highs top out at 50 degrees on average, with nighttime lows falling to 39 degrees. Throughout the region, it is cool but not cold – and an exceptionally lovely time of year to visit.
