From Nebraska Roots to Montana Agriculture Leadership: Meet Randall Jobman, Vice President of Agriculture

Randall Jobman’s passion for agriculture began on a farm and ranch in Nebraska, where he developed a deep respect for hard work. After earning his bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Nebraska in 1989, Randall began a three-decade career in the sugar beet industry, culminating in his current role as Vice President of Agriculture, North Region, for Western Sugar Cooperative.

Since joining Western Sugar in 1990 as an Agriculturalist in Nebraska, Randall has held several key roles, including Senior Agriculturist, Co-Products Manager, and Colorado Agricultural Manager, before assuming his current position in 2007. He also serves on the board of the American Society of Sugar Beet Technologists, contributing to advancements in the industry.

Randall and his wife, Christy, live in Worden, Montana, where she teaches science at Huntley Project High School. Together, they value hard work, education, and community.

Western Sugar Cooperative, a century-old organization with 700 growers and shareholders—many 4th- or 5th-generation farmers—takes pride in its rich legacy. Randall’s leadership upholds this tradition while fostering innovation and quality, ensuring Western Sugar remains a trusted name in high-quality sugar production.
