Hi! I heard on the radio a question of what we need in Billings...my two cents...we need a REALLY good multi use facility. One that would incorporate our hockey teams, figure skating clubs, a bunch of gyms for volleyball and basketball, I could go on and on! Look at the little city of Cody WY - they have one! Our family has been involved in hockey a long time, and have seen so many great multi use facilities - and it is so sad that a city of our greatness has nothing like that!! Visit with any travel basketball league and they will tell you there is no place to practice or host a tournament that is easy!

PLOW the neighborhood streets please!!! We live in MT, it snows every year.

There is a great need for a parking building at the airport. It took me a long time to find a parking place and when I did it was so far away from the terminal. When we have bad weather like this, that is a real problem. It took me twice as long to walk to the terminal through all of the snow and ice. It would be nice to have a parking structure, but it is also important for safety. I was very afraid that I was going to fall and be hurt on my long hike from the west side of the parking lot to the terminal. I really don't understand why we don't have a parking garage at the airport. More cars park at the airport everyday than anywhere else in the City. Let's get rid of the parking lot attendants and put in a fully automated parking structure.

Smoking should be prohibited on all City owned property and within 50 feet of the entrance to any City owned property. I park in one of the City parking garages. People gather to smoke near the elevator so that I have to walk through their cloud of smoke to get to the elevator. I shouldn't have to breath their crud to use an elevator that I helped pay for. I vote for NO SMOKING ON CITY PROPERTY--ABSOLUTELY NONE.

Market trail head to both Montana but also northern Wyoming. .

Billings should follow the lead of Missoula and Bozeman and adopt an anti-descrimination ordinace. Billings should recognize civil unions and should support marriage equality. I do not pay taxes for my government to discriminate against my family, neighbors, and people I love. You shouldn't either.

The City of Billings needs a new building. The municipal court room is terrible. That room is also used for City Council meetings and it is miserable. We sit on hard seats in an ugly uncomfortable room. I can't say a single good thing about that room. We also need a new building for our police department. Visiting the Billings Police Department is like jumping back in time to the 1950's. Our Police Officers need and deserve better. Billings deserves better.

Billings needs a small park/green space east of downtone near MetraPark.

Automate the parking garages. This would save the City of Billings roughly $500,000 a year. That is money that could be spent on other important projects. There is no reason today to pay someone more than $34,000 + a year to sit in the booth in a parking garage. Technology has changed the world. We no longer have or need elevator operators. We no longer need and we should no longer have parking garage attendants.

The Chamber needs to get more involved with making Billings a more livable and diverse. The chamber should work closer with community leaders, city, county, cultural to promote all of this cities great assets. I believe that if we promote our cultural assets as well as our business, health, area, we will attract more and more business. National surveys continue to show that cities that enbrace and help promote their cultural richness are cities people want to live in and set up business in. So get more involved in promoting your cultural assets.
