Trails! 1.) connecting trail from the refinery (by metra) t to River Front Park. The trail by the refinery is ugly. This trail should camouflage the refineries and be landscaped in native vegetation. 2.) more parks. Many of our parks are being used to death like Phipps, Zimmerman Park and Norms island. 3.) curb side recycling

Become a driving force behind stricter DUI laws in this area. It is ridiculous to read about some person getting their 11th DUI. Why don't we take safety more seriously.

We have to take care of our school buildings. What happens if the bond does not pass? Kids are already being taught in closets, hallways off of carts and in outdated “temporary” portables.

With the aging population, is there a plan to build a senior center or expand the one we have on 23rd street

Billings needs another professional sports team (hockey, football, basketball)

Visitbillings.com could use some tweaking. It’s pretty at first, but becomes difficult to navigate after just a click. Every single thing available in Billings is lumped together in long lists and it’s tiresome searching for what you want. Visitors from neighboring states that drive in for weekender shopping trips are probably interested a different experience than folks from far away places who fly in for a Montana/western experience. If information was better organized, it could result in more booked room nights, better exposure for local vendors, and more revenue streaming into Montana. Try to book a weekend fly-fishing trip from the site (I had to give up). What about adding a SEARCH feature? A MAP view would be helpful for the hotels section - the drop down menu sorts hotels by general geographic area, but visitors still have no frame of reference by being served up just a list of properties. Add a “Relocating?” link that directs you to the chamber site. Would photos/buttons/iconography provide a better user experience? Finally, I’d save the “TBID Stakeholders” and “Feasibility Study” pages for another site.

The main arteries (24th, Grand, Broadwater) need a facelift. I once saw Grand Ave. between 24th and 17th marketed as “The Shops on Grand.” If I were a visitor looking for the “shops” I would think I was lost. This stretch of Grand Ave. is littered with casinos, pawnshops, dilapidated buildings and signs fighting for your attention. Landscaping would be nice. Awnings would help. I’d love to see stricter zoning/design regulations on businesses so the overall aesthetic can slowly be upgraded. Can casinos be restricted to a certain part of town, or at least have their signage be more understated/less neon? We must continue to REVITALIZE, REDEVELOP or REMOVE what’s less good about Billings if we want to RETAIN and RECRUIT qualified citizens and businesses to the area.

Think outside the box and get ahead of now. Some cities have 100 year plans. What's ours? In our community we want young educated people that are tech savvy, with entrepreneurial spirits, to build the companies of tomorrow. Now is the time to take Rimrock School and turn it into a CODING education center. Maybe a before/after school program? Check out this short film called Code Stars ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=dU1xS07N-FA

RIVERFRONT PARK! This could be our community's gem. One of the main attractions we have is the river, yet it seems that it is the most neglected, under utilized part of our city. Almost all of the parking and picnic area is around 2 ponds....there is nothing unique about ponds. There is no view of the greatest river in the US, for families that want to sit and picnic.
