Create some Community Connectivity guidelines/requirements for developers that are sub-dividing farther and farther west. There are rules that could be put in place like: they must build the bike/walking trail from their development to the nearest other subdivision or split half the cost of the trail with the city, etc. There are too many small developments that are not connected with the rest of the community. Think bigger picture.

The highway from Billings to Great Falls should be a four lane road. The state rebuild part of it last year, but only did two lanes. That is just plain stupid. It is a busy road and it is very hard to pass slow moving trucks and cars. We need a four lane interstate type highway to connect Billings to Great Falls and Canada. Think of the commerce.

We need to add landscaping to Main Street in the Heights. The center islands are ugly. If those were replaced with trees and bushes like we have on south 27th Street, it would be a different neighborhood. Please value and add landscaping. Thank you.

Our business is located on the east entrance to Billings at exit 455. The trash that collects along the interstate and frontage road is truly an eye sore and a terrible way to greet people as the approach our great city. Let's get a FORMAL clean up project in place - for example - every MONDAY clean up, or at least every MONDAY the first week of the month. What would it take to do this? Is it something that could be added to the list of options for those who need to do community service for our community? In Arizona I have seen the inmates picking up trash along the major interstates. Do we need to apply for some type of grant or funding to see that this happens on a schedule and not just twice a year? You cannot replace first impressions. Let's work to find a solid plan for cleanup. Thank you. Jann Parker, Billings Livestock Commission Horse Sales 406-245-4151

We need a new museum similar to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. A large museum that focuses on the Yellowstone Valley and incorporates all groups that shaped our city. A museum that has extensive native exhibits, gun exhibits, railroad exhibits and so forth. A great place would be on top of the Rims like Swords Park. Maybe we could expand the small log cabin museum that is already on top of the Rims. It would be a great attraction and would have the best view of our great city!

Nothing more than a vision, and I have no idea how it could be made to happen. Finding a way to consolidate the various social service & mental health agencies into a consolidated "community" would be good for the agencies & their customers.

The city of Anchorage and its major hospital has an associated facility to temporarily house family members of newly admitted acutely ill patients. Alaska, like Montana, is large in size and patients' families arrive without places close to the hospital for their families. It was a great help when one of my daughters was admitted to the Intensive Care Ward and I arrived in the evening.

The future of medicine is good but may be changed if Affordable Care Act brings about damaging changes.

Commercial land shortage.

Help eastern Montana boom.
